I love chia seed pudding for breakfast or as a healthy easy to prep snack! This one is filled with superfoods like flaxseed and spirulina making it extra good for your body and brain. All the details are below!
Prep:
-No prep needed here in terms of getting things ready in advance, but this does make a great meal prep for the week
Tips:
-Depending on how sweet you like your chia seed pudding and what milk you are using, you might want to add a tablespoon of maple syrup
-Make sure to really shake!! The consistency comes from making sure there are no clumps
-When you are shaking, you want to use a really well sealed container. I linked the Weck ones I use in the Shopping section
Leftovers:
-Store in an airtight container- this will keep for 3-5 days in the fridge
The recipe:
Superfood Chia Seed Pudding
Prep time: 5 minutes
"Cook" time: 2 hours
Serves: 4
For the Chia Seed Pudding
2 cups milk of your choice (I used Good Karma's Flaxseed protein milk)
4 1/2 tablespoons of chia seeds
1/2 tablespoon spirulina powder
1/2 tablespoon vanilla
Instructions:
Mix the milk, spirulina, and vanilla together and whisk to combine
Add the milk mixture to your chia seeds in an airtight container
Shake for 15 seconds every 15/30 minutes for 2 hours. It seems like a lot but it's the key to not having clumps!
Top with your favorite chopped fruit
Serve and enjoy!
