5 Minute Spicy Watermelon Lime Sorbet

gourmetwithgrace

It was super hot recently, I wanted something refreshing, and I had about 1/4 of a watermelon that needed to be used. That's where this Spicy Watermelon Lime Sorbet comes in! It's the BEST summer treat and literally takes 5 minutes to make (not counting the 2-4 hours of freeze time for the watermelon).

Prep:

-You could freeze the watermelon in chunks at anytime, you'll just want to let it defrost a bit before you make this so it's not just watermelon ice

-The simple syrup is the key here! Check out my recipe here - I used my Serrano version for the spice

Tips:

-Any additions would be great here- blueberry, pineapple, mango, etc.

-I prefer the food processor texture here as it keeps it smooth but not too liquidy

-You can add more simple syrup if you'd like it sweeter, or reduce if you want it a bit less sweet

Leftovers:

-I doubt there will be any! But if so, put it in ice cube trays in the freezer and then you can just use those to re-blend when you want it again
